Scenario Paintball: Games, Gear, Fields, Bunkers, And Paintball Strategy

Scenario paintball is a fun game that commonly goes by several other names, including recreation paintball, woodsball and military simulation. The latter, though, is usually synonymous because a scenario paintball game is often a re-enactment of a particular event in history involving military action.

However, a scenario paintball game does not really limit itself to simple re-enactments of some historic military battles. A scenario paintball director is actually free to create a purely fictional story that will be a good setting for an exciting game. Opting to make use of this freedom is what makes this game such a refreshing outdoor recreational activity.

Whatever the choice, the game often carries a theme which participants are expected to act out through the various roles assigned to them. The typical scenario paintball theme, though, is often about the accomplishment of a mission which players finish by coming up with the appropriate strategy. Thus, it should not be surprising to find a scenario paintball game where military figures, terms and basic strategy plans are commonly employed.

Since scenario paintball is more like a military game, the roles often given to players are also usually in military settings. A military general, then, is usually a common scenario paintball role. Often, this particular official is the designated team leader and is the one who receives a mission for which he or she comes up with an effective strategy.

Additionally, scenario paintball is usually held outdoors and for this, large fields are often preferred. In these fields, there are two opposing sides, each one of them having a military base enclosed by several paintball bunkers. A paintball bunker serves as obstacles and protection for scenario paintball players, especially when seeking to accomplish a particular mission.

The paintball bunker often comes in many different types, although quite popular is the snake. This bunker is highly preferred by most scenario paintball players since it is rather long. When placed in midplay fields, this paintball bunker variety will usually give a scenario paintball player a good look at the opposing team.

Meanwhile, the gear used in a game is also important; there are actually several pieces of equipment needed to participate in a given scenario paintball game. The gear used ranges from a paintball gun down to a harmless water bottle. The two-way radio, though, proves to be of great importance to most scenario paintball players. Since a given game involves many participants covering a field stretching hundreds of acres, it is quite easy to get lost while playing. In which case, communication with the team becomes crucial, especially in the completion of a scenario paintball mission.

Of course, other scenario paintball gear, such as the map and the gun, are also extremely important. In short, when playing scenario paintball, every little thing has to be checked out thoroughly so that players can have a totally unique and exciting experience.
